After years of traveling internationally I have became lax in my due diligence. Upon trying to check-in for a flight the following day I found that out passports expired in 3 months, Portugal requires a 6 month leeway. So basically I panicked .... we ran out that night for pictures and made it to this facility an hour early the next day. Fearful that there would be a line. We were in the waiting room at 8am for our 8:30am appointment. they took us right in, said they would bump us to the top of the line. Now mind you we HAVE to be a the airport by 1pm this day. My expectations were very low, as this is a government agency. At a little over an hour we got NEW passports and were on our way. I want to call out ALYSIA & LINDSEY as they just could not have been nicer or more professional. I am sure they are used to crying women but this was a truly amazing and unexpected experience. I just want to give a huge THANK YOU to everyone at this agency, they all deserve a raise. Miracles do happen and I have learned a very valuable lesson.

The most painless interaction with government entity I have ever had! Staff was friendly and understanding. They made accommodations for my unique situation and even reimbursed me for the extra money I though I would have to spend again. Wait time was short compared to what I was expecting and I got my passport same day! Definitely recommend!!!
You will fall in love with this old historic downtown building. This building used to be where anyone joining the military went to have their physical and get sworn in. Now it’s the place to go if you need your passport in a hurry. Don’t forget to bring your Unexpired ID or you will not get in.
Friendly, easy to work with. Appointment for 8:30 am. Arrived at the government building at 8am. Took a few minutes to get through security and the metal detector. Had all of our paperwork ready. We were done with our appointment before 8:30.
This place has been amazing, they saved our trip. My father in law has to go out of the country right for business after he got his citizenship, this place got him a passport within the day. Employees are very polite, service was prompt. I glad my tax money is being put to good use unlike the industrial military complex. Only complaint is that the close so early, but hey as long as you get there in time , thats all that matter. 5 stars
