This fence project had its bumps in the road. We have a septic system with a leach field. I informed Brent of this but I don't think either of us thought it would be as big of a pain as it turned out to be. On day 1 the team working on the fence ended up busting one of the lines. Not their fault, just doing their job. Work was halted. I had plumbers come out and give estimates that were astronomical. I worked closely with Michael, the owner, and he made it right. The respect and authenticity he showed towards me and his company was much appreciated. Fast forward a month we have a fence that the team had to hand dig holes for that looks GREAT! Even with the unexpected delay I would recommend these guys any day! This is also our second time using them and if we ever need fence work again, it will not be the last!

Awful company!!!!! Mike, father of Brent and owner, is unprofessional and clearly has an issue with women. He was disrespectful and rude to me multiple times when discussing issues on their end with why my fence was not being completed properly. I was also told my fence would be completed Friday, then they didn’t have enough material or the right gate so then I was told it would be completed Tuesday or Wednesday by the latest and it is Wednesday and still is not completed. Mike acted like he didn’t care, nor did he call me to tell me the fence would be delayed further. They clearly are used to bad reviews because he even said ‘leave me a bad review or do whatever you want’ when I questioned why he hadn’t called the gate company yet to obtain an update concerning my fence. I wish I would have read the reviews. I was recommended this company by a friend and didn’t think I needed to look into the reviews. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - They do not follow through then treat you horribly for their mistakes. I could go on and on about how bad this whole situation has been and the amount of stress it has created for myself and family. I originally spoke with Brent, Mike’s son, concerning the job and have yet to be able to get back ahold of him. He never came back out to get exact measurements of what I wanted and tried to use an old beat up gate they got from ‘their yard’ instead of getting me a new gate that I paid for and a specialized one due to being on a slant. I am shocked at how I have been treated through this process, as well as the lack of communication, professionalism and respect.
I highly recommend Carolina Wood Fence. Received white glove service from start to finish. I contacted CWF for an estimate and the owner Mike promptly contacted me and came out and gave me an estimate. Mike explained the work to be completed including all timelines from having utilities Marked, ordering materials, to the installation of the fence. The fence material is above average material of powder coated aluminum. Mike even had a gate custom made for the slant we have in our yard. The installer that came out (also named Mike with with a helper) showed up on time and did a great job of installing our fence. My wife and I couldn't be happier. We went with black chain link. It blends so well with the house and landscape that you hardly notice it. Crew was very nice and they got done almost a day early.
