By law, notary publics may charge a maximum of 6 dollars. I only came to this guy because my mother has been going to him for years to get her documents notarized. I had him sign one paper, and once he was done he asked me for 20 dollars. 20 dollars for a signature? When called out on it he just made up an excuse. I'm definitely bringing this up to the attention of the Secretary of State. Don't go to this guy.
