I was invited because I am a volunteer for the state archives. It was a lovely visit and we were given a tour of some of the inner workings of this government building. Parking was a challenge, otherwise it was nice. Staff were outstanding.
Just visited the lobby area to look at the displays, a lot of great info about the state history and the capital.
Great service. Friendly and polite people. The people who work there appear to love their jobs and love genealogy.
Great place to soak up some history.
