My 16 year old son recently participated in a volleyball tournament at Velocity. I was very impressed with the facility and thought they ran a fantastic event. The courts were in great shape and also appreciated the snack/lounge area for breaks between games. Looking forward to going back again.

I have to mirror a lot of the comments in the reviews here. This location has 7 courts which, to my count with 3 teams rotating on a court, can only handle 21 teams. The parking cannot handle half of that! Today we saw nothing stating there is a shuttle from the Metra station. Due to the over crowding, we ended up just dropping off our daughter and going off to do other things. It wasn't until the tail end of the flight that we could get in and at least stand to watch her play. Seating, as they said, is minimal and as required. With people standing and watching games, it is almost impossible to walk thru from one end to the other. So, they also don't have room to add additional seating as well as allow you to bring in your own seat. The bathrooms were clean. They do have a sizable sitting area for concessions but there is no view into the courts. I really hope we don't have to go back to this venue. We're used to a lot of challenges with most venues but this one, unfortunately, has the most when hosting larger tournaments. My suggestion would be to reduce the number of teams by at least a third.

It's a very nice facility. Our daughter played VB tournaments 2 years in a row and it has polite staff. For lunch they sold subway sandwiches and Beggars pizza plus and assortment of healthy and sweet options if you have a sweet tooth. The only reason I rate this 4 out of 5 is the parking is very limited so you'll need to be early if you want a close spot or even a spot in the front lot

Great facility! We go there for Club Volleyball tournaments. Definitely one of the better VB facilities! They allow you to bring your own coffee in which most VB facilities don't allow at all! Parking is better than most because they offer a shuttle if parking near the facility fills up (which always does at all VB facilities). Haven't been anywhere that a shuttle was offered!! Tournaments are always crazy (especially parking), but Velocity makes the experience better. Thank you to the owners and staff!
