Removing the Stress from My Tresses I've gotten my hair braided, weaved, cut, styled etc...you name it I've done it for over 20 years. So on that Friday morning, I walked into Ahava Felicidad's Hair Studio expecting the same experience of a super long day, tight braids, and a sleepless night. What I received was a healing spa experience not only for my scalp, but my body, mind and spirit as well. Just like so many of us, I work long hours, have crazy weeks, and some nights I come home so stressed out I can barely think. The day before had been no different. I walked into Ahava's with a cup of coffee and a face that wore all the stress from the day before. The first thing I hear is that "We don't have the strength to carry yesterday's burden;" instantly my shoulders began to ease. As I picked my head up out of my coffee, I began to notice my surroundings. From the green "family" wall with local artists featured on the walls to the essential oils swirling around in a blend of summer and calm every inch of the studio allowed me to relax and melt into the moment. The package I received was the Osaze Sugar Scrub, Lavender essential oil dripped through my scalp, and styled into passion twists. I left there with not only a new hairstyle (which is FABULOUS) but also a new perspective on life. I have never had someone pay so much attention to my scalp and what it needs. I was informed of the proper products to use, which areas of my scalp need additional treatment, and the best way to maintain the health of my hair and scalp. I hands down recommend Ahava Felicidad's Hair Studio to anyone looking to love themselves and experience a spa for their scalp and hair. Thank you Ahava! I will never be the same. See you soon!!!

Ahava is the best holistic hair practitioner! I started to go to her in July of 2015 because my hair was in dire need of help - my edges broke off from having too tight braids and weave then on top of that, the dermatologist told me that I had alopecia effluvium. From those two problems, I was seeing absolutely no growth. I was distraught over my hair and thought that there was no coming back from this but once I started going to her, my hair has been at its healthiest! With her hair sugar scrub, structured water & ormus - all of my edges have grown back in 2017! Ahava is very realistic with hair growth and will let you know that you are not going to see the hair growth you want, if you do not put the work outside of coming to her. Ahava has healing hands not on hair but on trying to help her clients become the best person they can be. I definitely recommend everyone (kids, women and men) to check her out, if you want an amazing experience!
