Needed to bring an elder family member to report a identity fraud to present to the credit companies and also to translate in case no one can speak mandarin. After waiting for about 1 hours, finally an asian cop (did not ask him to speak Chinese). He looked real tough, total attitude his approach to my friendly question with extreme doubt that its even worthy of his time. After some more explanation, he said if we haven't experienced any lost we couldn't file a report. Basically, somebody use the credit cards (all department store cards) and went on a shopping spree over and over again (even as we are closing the accounts), huge balance and its not officially a lost yet because according to the officer it needs to be in a form of collection agency, etc. So the store cards won't let u proceed with investigation without a police report and the police will not file a report until the credit record is destroyed (lost) and collection agency (another lost) can be proven/provided. It was so much BS. Basically a large asian community with no one to report crime to, no one can speak their language, most people in the community (young or old) marginally knowledgeable about procedures/gov how in the world can they serve the community with this kind of service!?

THE OLD MAN

This Police Department is a a good department. They keep the citizens safe, while some Officers may be corrupt. The majority of the police force are great and willing to risk there lives for the safety of the public.

90% of its police can’t speak an Asian language in a dominant Asian community. Police can’t communicate with most of its citizens. This is a disgrace when every city in CA is implementing its police force to reflect the community residents. Burglary, auto theft, are rampant and violent crimes are on the rise. Only best at handing out traffic tickets and calling resident home to ask for donations. The entire police department need to have a top to bottom restructure.

I respect most officers, but to those who treated unfair with civilians and don't care about other big problems like drivers who speed on a red light or revving their engine in the neighborhood are the last one to get along. \Officer\ Barbera is one of them and I find it unfair for him to treat us like that.

some officers are hot, but most of them are too old. do not like that. ):( they are also okay at their jobs i guess. some seem like they just don't care about us as much as they care about the revenue they get. 4 stars, would recommend getting arrested here.
