My daughter has been with Motor City for 2 years now after transferring from another studio where she had a negative experience. Motor City welcomed us with open arms. The teachers are warm and friendly. The studio is reputable and maintains high expectations for their dancers who perform, but they always provide the support and guidance to get there in a positive manner. They are flexible with their dancers and understand that school commitments may present conflicts at times and are respectful of that. My daughter is thriving in this studio and has developed some wonderful friendships with the other dancers. This studio feels like a big family and we are so happy with our experiences here.

I used to dance at a competitive Irish Dance school, but I hated all competitions and pressure of it all. I’m so glad I switched to Motor City Irish Dance, because now I get to perform with my friends which I love so much more than competing because I get to show others my love for Irish Dance! There is also so much less pressure which makes it a much more fun and light hearted atmosphere. Everyone here is so nice! I was nervous about switching dance schools but all of the people here are so welcoming and I was able to make so many new friends! We have a great time at class and performances. Also, our instructor is so kind and always willing to help us with our dances! Unlike at my old dance school, she makes sure we are confident with our dances before we perform them. I would absolutely recommend that you come to Motor City!!

This my second year with Motor City and I absolutely love it! Ever since I joined, I have always felt welcomed there. I have gained so many friendships and I’ve always had a positive experience. I improved so much ever since I got there and still continue to improve so much! I’m so thankful for so many wonderful experiences in class and in company!

I love my weekly Irish class! It’s a great way for me to work on my technique, stay in shape, and have fun learning Irish steps. 10/10 recommend this for everyone, from kids to adults, whether you are a beginner or highly skilled. (Yes, they have classes for everybody) Also, the atmosphere at this studio is great. Very encouraging, positive, and focused on helping each other improve and do our best!

Classes are planned around what you want to get out of it and this has made me motivated to always practice to show what I learned from each class. This is one of the best experience I've had with learning a new dance form. The office staff are also very helpful with scheduling and are very prompt with replies.
