Decided to take my quad here per a friends recommendation. Overall spent upwards of 2200 for a new head, timing chain, cams, piston, and labor. After roughly 24 hours of actual run time. (I'm being generous saying 24 hours) it dies at idle. Called them up to see what they could do and was told they have something like a 30 day warranty. It had already been more than 3 months. They told me I could bring it up and they would take a look at it, but I decided to opt out as I didnt want to make the same mistake twice. Upon teardown I found the (new) timing chain had snapped. As it turns out they re-used the original chain tensioner which on my quad is known for problems. After dropping such a large lump of money, I'd expect professionals to know that any new timing chain should also get a new tensioner regardless of it being a known problem or not. There is also the possibility they used a junk chain but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt on that one. Dont come here for repairs unless you know exactly what your machine needs and state it exactly when you drop it off. You cannot count on them not taking shortcuts.
