We were thrilled with the level of service that we received from Thompson Electric. The guys really bent over backwards to get our new HVAC installed fast during the hot summer. They were very professional, gave us a great price, fully inspected their work, and really over delivered on every promise they made to us. I highly recommend this company.

Thompson Electric is a wonderful, family owned company. They are trustworthy, competent, and friendly. Not only do they stand behind their work, but they will go above and beyond to make sure you are satisfied. We have used them multiple times and plan to use them indefinitely.
I question his knowledge despite how nice he seemed in person. He filled my ac 2/3 full of freon suspecting a leak but didn't diagnose anything and sent me a bill for 7 lbs of freon that completely leaked out just hours later. I had a second company come out the next day and they found the leak after being at my house for literally 5 minutes and showed me how they easily unscrewed just a few screws to expose the obvious leak that I could hear from inside the house. It was completely fixed in only one hour for double what I was charged to have freon leak into my yard by Thompson electric and have my ac left broken and told I would be charged triple what I ended up paying with another company. I will not be using them again. There was never a need to put 7 lbs of freon in my unit before the leak was found! If you look at the picture of the repair, you can see how easy it was to access the leak and diagnose the issue! I was shocked when the second company found the issue so fast and warrantied my unit. Thompson wouldn't budge on the bill and customer service was extremely poor. The lady on the phone was rude. We tried to negotiate the bill but they wouldn't budge.
When my A/C gave out, Justin came over right away. He gave me several options and a variety of price points. He answered all my questions, and after we chose to install a new unit, he and his crew were quick and professional with installation. Our new unit is so much more energy efficient! Compared to the previous year, we’re saving about 100 a month on our energy bill.
Please don't waste your time or money with this company. The owner of the company came to see our air conditioner unit and it took him four different visits to figure out what was wrong with the unit, well at least that's what he said the last time. Each time he came, he will find something that was wrong yet the next time was something else. By the fourth visit, we lost the ability to trust him and told him that we were going to find another company instead. We lost close to 300 dollars but most importantly the time of not having the unit fixed in this hot weather. We ended up hiring another company, Billy Heating & Cooling, which fixed the problem on their first visit without any complications. Overall, If you can find another company then please do and save yourself the trouble.
