This snow day was the perfect opportunity to capitalize on hungry college students and just all of Austin that had no electricity or eagerness to cook. Please be open Tuesday, February 16th. THANK YOU FROM YOUR FAITHFUL MIDNIGHT SNACKING CUSTOMERS

As much as Austin is known for food trucks I tend to avoid them just because I am not big into fried food which much of them consist of, but I gave this place a try on a Friday night when there was virtually nothing else open. The food court was pretty cool and lively music playing so for after midnight meals this area is the spot! My family ate at the food truck next door, the halal place and there food took 30 minutes to come out. My food here at Mount 8K took about 5 minutes to come out after ordering, so from that perspective this already made it a much more attractive place to eat at. This place had a pretty good amount of options and a couple healthier options, although not that much better. The egg fried rice, which is what I ordered, was a pretty large dish and very filling. The waters here were also 50 cents as opposed to the place next door which were 2.5. Overall for a food truck this was pretty good and I would come back here before most other food trucks.

Had a chicken momo that I wasn't sure was even fully cooked. And on some the outside was dry and the inside tasted old. They are using an industrial fryer to get it out as quick as possible rather than make sure the inside is fully cooked and juicy. Their fried rice also isn't as advertised and is simply just rice, chicken and doesn't have the variety on their poster.

The food tastes bad (not tasty at all and salty), portion size is small. Doesn’t worth buying at all. Ordered lamb sekuwa, momo and chowmein.

Excellent food! I ordered both the Paneer Tikka Masala (Indian Hot) and the Mango Lassi - both were absolutely delicious and well-made!!
