Captain Chris was awesome! He called me the day ahead to confirm, and told me what I should bring (Beer good Bananas bad). The day of was beautiful, it couldn't have been clearer. We set off to Captain's favorite fishing hole, which was nice because it wasn't too far away from the harbor. Chris set the lines out and after long we hooked a silver. My wife was first to reel one in, she got first and biggest fish! Chris reset the lines, and I was next on deck to reel one in. I figured I should give us some good luck, so I took a beer for the team. My son was next to reel one in. We got a few shakers, then near the end of the trip I got one more! Captain Chris is a great conversationalist, his boat is clean and well maintained. He was professional and a good boat Captain and fishing guide. Thank you Captain Chris for helping make my son's 9th birthday celebration more awesome! - Sam

First, I have to say - I have never been on a charter but I researched several in the area and did not get a good vibe with the others. I definitely recommend Captain Chris because he is an all around honest, knowledgeable and fantastic guide! I surprised my fiancé with a charter trip and we both loved it! Puget Sound is beautiful in the morning and Captain Chris is very knowledgeable about the area, wildlife, hotspots and super accommodating for us newbies. We were lucky enough to catch a Coho Salmon and we shared our charter with a super nice couple and we really enjoyed ourselves! Lots of great conversation, shared snacks, lots of laughs and we had so much fun! We will definitely be back again next year - maybe for Crabbing !
My wife, Jenn and I are transplants from NC, with limited fishing experience. We went out with Capt. Chris and the overall experience was amazing. Chris made us feel like family. He was welcoming, and patient with us as we learned the PNW fishing way. The price was fair, and it truly felt like we were hanging out as friends not customers during the charter. From here on out I'll always go to Chris for a fishing trip. You can shop around and look for other charters, but you will be ultimately disappointed if you do not book with Chris. We cant wait for our next charter with Chris.
While visiting our son and daughter-in-law for the week, we decided it would be a fun trip for the four of us to fish for salmon and after researching, found Big King Salmon Charters. Captain Chris made this trip enjoyable and entertaining even though the weather conditions were less than optimal for August. While soaking wet, and of course with the expert help from Chris, we managed to catch 3 Coho salmon! This was a fantastic day on the water and we highly recommend Big King Salmon Charters to anyone looking for a memorable experience. Thanks Chris!
Recently went out fishing with Captian Chris of Big King Salmon charters. We had four anglers on the boat chasing Salmon in Marine Area 9. What a great outing. We all caught our limit of fish by 9:30am (crazy good). There were a lot of other boats out on the water and I didn't see that many nets up. But we crushed it and I would highly recommend Captian Chris and Big King Salmon Charters. See fish in the box and two we enjoyed for dinner. The boat and the charter was a great experience.
