RUDE RUDE RUDE! Literally got yelled at by multiple employees and told to get out when I opened the door and asked if they had an extra mask as I could not find mine. I get it, you're scared im going to give you covid from 12ft away while you're wearing a mask. There's a polite way to go about it and then there's the Mt. Shavano Ski shop way. First and last time renting there.

Convenient location on the way to Monarch. We were in and out fast ... there were 6 of us so we weren’t expecting that... very friendly and helpful staff. We’ll be back!

Awesome! Tracy is a tuning magician. After the rocks at Monarch did a number on the underside of my skis, 17 got them sailing again. He also fixed my whacked binding settings. They mounted bindings for us as well. Great, timely service.

Have rented from them for 2 years. Their gear is actually pretty good but the attitude in the ski shop is not good. They are very rude and unhelpful. I'll be renting for my family and other groups somewhere else next time.

Brought my two out-of-town guests to Monarch Mountain so they could get the full Colorado experience and ski/snowboard for the first time. Now, me: I don't do that kind of stuff and I'm completely ignorant about it--but my cousins are avid snowboarders and the last time I tagged along on one of their gnarly excursions to Monarch I seemed to remember stopping at this nifty little A-frame for rental equipment. And I seemed to remember my cousins musing about why they hadn't done that before and how the gear was in better shape than renting from Monarch and that the prices were more affordable, as well. So I suggested that we do the same. Turns out it was a genius idea--made me look like I knew what I was doing. We told the staff that it was their first times skiing and snowboarding and the staff gave them great tips and encouraged them. They are so quick and efficient with getting the equipment, too--I think we were in and out of there in less than 15 minutes. The prices were super reasonable and at the end of the day, my friends had an absolute BLAST up on Monarch. All of the gear was brand new or close to it--in fantastic shape. My friends even LOOKED cool as they fell down on the mountains and ate snow all afternoon. By the end of the day, though, they got their snow legs. The staff at Mt. Shavano are awesome, knowledgable, efficient and friendly. They were a huge part of an amazing experience that I know my friends won't soon forget and hey, I looked like I knew what I was doing. It was win for everyone. Thanks for being awesome--I'll be bringing all of my n00b out-of-town friends here to make their skiing/snowboarding dreams come true.
