I came to the ER by squad. I had great care. They explained everything they were going to be doing. I ended up being admitted for 2 days. They were all so good to me including ER staff, lab staff, x-ray staff, nursing staff, housekeeping and cafeteria staff. I am glad I lived so close to KCH.

Buy some perverse twisted logic they do everything they can to keep people from getting a Covid test. Furthermore costs In general have been seven or more times higher than the other nearby hospitals. Wait times are extraordinarily long. Are usually wait an hour for a pediatrics appointment. Everything about this hospital is completely unacceptable
We moved from Akron down to South Central Ohio so we had to find all new doctors and we have many including a cardiologist my husband needed they have all been very professional is it very clean and friendly hospital very few wait times in any of the offices. Well my husband was in ICU he had a lot of great nurses helping him out when he had the stents put in. I split my leg out last year and the orthopedic surgeon here is just out of this world I also have a GI doctor and a pulmonologist here... I have no complaints so far about this place. They listen to your needs and they get the testing they feel fits your situation promptly.
Very rude personal at this hospital. No one seems to know what is going on at this hospital. You call and they tell you the wrong things. I have went there several years and it just keeps getting worse with the competence. I am now going to go to another hospital for my care I do not trust Knox to be able to help me.
I always go to the ER feeling like a burden, especially if I’m not in crazy pain, but sometimes you have to go with your gut and figure out if it’s right, or not! I’ve been here twice. Yes, you have to be patient, things aren’t immediate all the time, I try to go in expecting that when I go (I’d like to note that the first time I went they made sure to ask if I needed any pain relief, and asked a few times to make sure.) I went yesterday on recommendation from my doctor for a possible serious explanation to my symptoms. Every single person I met was easy-going and kind, and NEVER made me feel like a burden once! From the registration people, to the nurses, doctor, to the pharmacist, and ultrasound tech- each one was easy to talk to and it just made the unwanted ER trip so much easier. And this has actually been my experience both times I have gone.
