I really enjoyed the views. Like most places by the beautiful CA beaches it was breathtaking. Easy access, clean bathrooms and also bring your snacks! There is a beautiful peaceful area under the trees to sit down and relax

Muir Beach Overlook was worth the drive. The weather was beautiful. It wasn't too cold or windy when I went, so it was perfect. This was my first time visiting & although it's not much to explore unless you decide you want to walk the trails that are close by. This place is kid friendly. There is limited parking, so I'll have to suggest getting to the overlook as early as possible. I arrived around noon & was able to find a parking space with no problems. After I arrived within 30 minutes to an hour, cars started rolling in & the parking lot was packed. The drive to Muir Beach Overlook has a lot of turns. There are cyclists on the road as well, so keep in mind of how fast you are driving. It's only a 2 lane road. 1 to get there & 1 to get back, so be as careful as you can. Do Not Drive Fast! It's about 7 miles of turns, up hill and down hill after you pass a little town, so be prepare to stay focus on the road. Other than that, the overlook was amazing. It was a needed little trip. Please practice social distancing & wear your masks. Enjoy!

Beautiful place. Very underrated and not at all crowded. Parking for about 20-ish cars and restrooms are available!

Gorgeous Vistas from this Overlook of Muir Beach close to Muir Woods. Parking is small and can get filled up on weekends and holidays. They have picnic benches to enjoy lunch overlooking this beautiful view of the ocean.

Stunning views above Muir Beach! Parking area is relatively small, but plenty of parking when I was there around 2 in the afternoon on a Tuesday. There are Restrooms at the parking area, be aware they are pit toilets so bring hand wipes or sanitizer. It’s a short walk out to the overlook and the view is spectacular. Definitely worth a short stop if you are in the area.
