What an AMAZING and RELAXING tour we had on the river and off in the swamp areas. The two guides were so informative, shared flora and fauna knowledge as well as local history and pointed out hard to see wildlife. Zero rush and was so stoked at the finish. Very worthwhile and you can't beat the affordable price. We were so pleased we gave them a well deserved tip and will do this again! A must do when visiting the Myrtle Beach area!

We had a wonderful tour with Chris and Jane. They were super knowledgeable of the area and swamp, cared for it deeply (picking up all garbage along the way) and were also very accommodating. We had an absolutely amazing time kayaking and would definitely recommend their tours!

We went on the two hour tour with Chris and Jane. I must say, they are extremely knowledgable of the history and wildlife on the river. We were a party of four, so it felt like a very personalized experience. We saw tons of wildlife in a short amount of time. Chris and Jane were very friendly; they offered snacks, drinks, bug spray, etc. They even gave suggestions for other local food and activities on our trip. I would highly recommend Gator Bait to anyone looking for a relaxing, authentic activity that creates lasting memories.

We booked a sunset kayaking trip for our family of five and we had an absolutely wonderful time. Jane and Chris are passionate about the wildlife refuge / river / swamp areas and taught us about the history of the region, the flora and fauna, showed us how to identify regional invasive species and control efforts. We thoroughly enjoyed getting to know them a little as we explored the swamp and river. They know the area so well that they knew exactly where to find several species of birds, the location of a massive fishing spider, the locales of the alligators living in the area. I definitely recommend this end-of-the-day relaxing tour with a very cool couple. They packed snacks and drinks, and threw in photos, postcards, and emergency whistles in the cost of the trip. We will definitely do it again if we are back in the area!
