Exceptional service, professionalism and care! Since the VA women's clinic on Charlotte Ave. opened, I have been impressed by the staff, nurses and doctors. After moving away several years ago and then back to the area this year, I was concerned standards may have dropped. If anything, care and service has only improved! (and I was very happy with the care before). In a system (VA) that is often criticized for shortcomings, every person I have encountered in this office goes above and beyond to give patients an optimal visit. They lead with respect, kindness, and professionalism that rivals and often exceeds care I've received in the private sector. I would absolutely recommend this clinic to any woman veteran! **Note: I was reluctant to get routine care during the pandemic, but I feel very safe with the protocols they have put in place at this clinic. They rank #1 on my list for safety during COVID!

Have come here multiple times only to find myself being disrespected and made to feel like I was faking my symptoms. The mental health team and one or two of the nurses are a joke. Unprofessional and cannot be trusted. I was placed in uncomfortable situations multiple times and attempted to discuss my concerns. I was ignored, told I can not be switched to a different provider or told to go to a different facility. The worst part about it all is that my appointments were canceled several times without letting me know. I had to call every week to make sure nothing changed or maybe a sooner date opened up. I have caught the medical assistants and one of the nurses speaking ill of their patient during the appointment. If I ever see this facility in the news, I won't be surprised.

Terrible place if your primary care provider is here. If you’re simply referred here for a one time appointment, it’s not too bad. But for whatever reason the VA switched my primary care provider and I got sent here. My original appointment got rescheduled FOUR times, which is ridiculous. Then when I showed up for my appointment, 30 minutes early as stated in the appointment reminder, I waited an entire hour before I was seen. I got swabbed and was told the results were going to take a day. It has been TWO weeks and I have heard nothing. I called the clinic, and the nurse line was not any help either. They just stated that they would put in a note and have the doctor call me back. I can see why veteran suicides are such a huge issue and it’s disappointing that this is the best the government can provide for veterans.

I've been coming to the Woman's Clinic for about 5 years and have always had a very nice experience there. They really care about the Veteran. I would like to give a special thank you to Whitney Wormer, NP.
