Initial consultation seemed extremely promising. Spoke to Nene and he presented treatment as being focused on working with me, consistent quality of care, and communicating with my other doctors. Actual service was the opposite; after 2 or so sessions of seeing Nene, he offloaded me to another doctor, who did not take the time to learn, or find important, my personal background. This was under the guise of a trade off between him and her, but I was only able to see Nene if I requested him weeks in advance. Quality of care and interest from Nene's office immediately declined. When I requested clarity and voiced my concerns regarding quality and clerical issues the office was presenting to me, he flatly denied it all; even issues that were not subjective such as issues with billing, paperwork, and scheduling. Largely, a waste of time money, and energy. Arguably, he did more damage than aid. When I requested my files, they sent incorrect documents that took close to a month to arrive. As others have mentioned, he was unclear about medications he prescribed. When I brought this up later, he dismissed it and outright denied his lack of warnings. He claimed that if he were to explain all of the side effects if would be too much, but that is part of the job isn't it. Go somewhere else, he's more interested in the money than the patients. He's all marketing.

I showed up for my appointment on Aug. 13, but the office was clearly closed and locked. I arrived 20 minutes early and waited up until my appointment time but no one showed up. I called and left 2 messages on their voicemail asking what was going on.

Not a good experience. My main issues were the fact that when Dr. Nene was prescribing me medications I always asked if there were side effects he said no at first and then acknowledged them only after I started experiencing them. Had no problem giving me large quantities of addictive drugs but took a while to get me a supplemental one. He misinformed my family on my mental state after making them upset and worried. After I expressed my feelings he moved me to a female psychiatrist saying that I would feel more comfortable with a woman since I’m a girl. Once again making me feel invalidated and treating me more like a patient than a person. This is my personal experience with this specific doctor. His bedside manner is lacking. The office itself is good and has helped me a lot. The female psychiatrist in the same office is fantastic as a doctor.

Dr Neel Nene and his staff have been extremely helpful to me and to my family. They have been easy to work with and accommodating with appointment scheduling. There were a few bumps as he was getting the practice set up but now that the team is in place, I have absolutely no complaints. His professional staff is caring and compassionate, and you feel as though you are being listened to and heard. I highly recommend his practice.
