Mr fix it

We visited New Orleans and had to visit downtown. I really wanted two dishes while visiting, one being Creole and the other being jambalaya. I chose to indulge the Creole in this establishment and it was soo good. The shrimp was cooled perfectly and the sauce was tasty along with the rice. I enjoyed every bite of the dish. We also had the shrimp for appetizer with the hush puppies and they were also tasty. I would recommend this place if you want to enjoy authentic Louisiana dishes.

I was here in September on my first visit to New Orleans and honestly, this restaurant did not disappoint. I still have dreams about the jambalaya, it was that good! My waitress was terrific, the food was hot and the drink was STRONG! I had the Voodoo Punch. Highly recommend it. The crab cake was the stuff of dreams. Plenty of crab, deliciously cooked, and, as others have said, the atmosphere was great. I'm headed to NOLA in a week and will definitely be coming here for dinner!

The drinks were great and the servers were nice. Unfortunately, the staff was not following the mask mandate. Additionally, the bar staff was touching their face, money, cutlery, cups, etc and the cutting fruit without washing their hands. The kitchen staff was also not wearing their mask, we saw them from the bar each time the kitchen door swung open. The food was average.

Got the gator bites, crab stuffed mushrooms and fire cracker shrimp for an appetizer before going somewhere else. I feel like it was pretty expensive for the portions I.e. the mushrooms were great but seems like a lot for just two small mushrooms. Gator bites were amazing and fire cracker shrimp was awesome as well! I was so hungry and it was so good that I forgot to take a photo!

Our daughter's wedding reception was held there last month. Outstanding service and communication from the initial call to reserve it, to hosting and serving the event. I lived there for 10 years and we missed the food, people, and hospitality! Creole Cookery delivered it all. The food was incredible, service professional and friendly, managers and servers made us feel like we came home! We'll definitely stop back in next time we visit the Big Easy! God bless the entire staff and thank you for taking care of my family: especially our daughter and her new husband!
