The tour my family and I took with Mark around New Orleans was by the best tour I have ever been on in my entire life! Mark worked constantly to tailor the tour to us and showed us the entirety of New Orleans in the process. I truly felt in the several hours we were touring with Mark that I got insight into New Orleans that is available only to a local. Every second we were in the car we were enlightened with the city's backstory, aspects of local culture, places to eat, and everything else you'd get on the best tour of your life. Mark's exceptional personality and superb knowledge of New Orleans created an excellent environment that I would recommend to all others looking for someone to show them around the Big Easy. Absolutely would 10/10 recommend and would 110% book Mark for a tour again in the future! PS: I attached some photos I took while on the tour with Mark.

We had a wonderful time on the tour! Marc was an awesome tour guide; very hospitable and welcoming. His knowledgeable of the many historical restaurants in New Orleans is incredible. The tour started with him picking us up from our hotel...similar to Uber, then he began telling us all about the great, historical restaurants and some there most notable dishes. Our favorite restaurants were Antoine's and Tableau. We were able to take a behind the scenes tour of Antoine's that was an awesome experience!!! Highly recommend this tour.

We had a 4 hour private tour with Marc when we visited NoLa to drop off our daughter at college. It was not our first tour in NoLa, but we learned so much more passing by the same places, as Marc took us deeper into the history and local flavor of the city, He took us to spots with great and unusual views in NoLa, and we learned more about the areas around the French Quarter and the people who live there. In addition, Marc knows the restaurant scene very well, and he helped us find the perfect restaurant for the final celebration with our daughter. Marc understood our interests and took us to historical places and spots with great photo opportunities of the city. We truly veered \off the beaten path\ and got to know the city so much better. It was an excellent tour.

Mark is AMAZING.... . We cant say enough wonderful things about him and the experiences he pulled together for us in the 11th hour. He picked us up from the airport and from then on it was a volcano of information. For just a minimal extra fee he was able to include sites from some of his other tours because my daughter and I are very much into abandoned buildings and street art, of which Mark happens to offer separate tours on both. He even took extra time out with us to show us some of the best local food spots. We are incredibly grateful to have met Mark and to have booked NOLA Detours.

Coming to Nola, I wanted to experience the heart, the history and the people that call this beautiful place, home. As a creative soul, I wanted to come here and be inspired, enlightened and take pieces of this place to heart and become a better version of myself. I challenged Mark to show me the grit, the dangerous abandoned beauty, the Bayou way of life and cultural diversity that makes this place what it is. Mark took my challenge and blew it out of the water. Because of Mark I will leave NOLa and return home a better version of myself, indeed. Forever grateful for his hospitality, kindness, willingness to be open and share even his own life story, being a native here in Nola. He’s hands down a MUST go to, if you’re seeking the ultimate experience while in New Orleans!
