One Michelin star and one million stars in the eyes after every bite. Everyone should go at least one in their lifetime to CasaMono. The location, the incredibly surprising menu and dishes, and the more then welcoming and warm staff. It is one of the best dining experiences I can recommend for anyone while living or visiting New York. Every single dish has its unique flavors. Everything is unprecedented and surprising. It's a melody, a symphony, a dance, a work of art. What you can leave with is in no way a leftover but certainly the memory. There is no way you forget about a dinner at Casa Mono. The best is to order from anything and everything. It is beyond worth it. Forget the numbers, forget everything and get immersed in a whole food and hospitality full experience in its integral. The best is to go with a date/ friend/ friends.

Updated review FEB 10. Excellent dishes as always. Great wine selection. Nice outdoor seating is safe and well ventilated. The staff is very kind, knowledgeable and efficient. I found a lot of their dishes currently have sauce with high acidity. So keep that in mind when ordering a bottle. The creme Catalan was ok. The chocolate cake might’ve been a better choice....

One Michelin star tapas restaurant with plenty of outdoor dining - grab a reservation if you can! All of the tapas I’ve tried so far were perfectly cooked and beautifully plated. Casa Mono also has an extensive drink & wine menu that pairs perfectly with their tapas! It does get a bit cold depending on where you are seated for outdoor dining so come prepared! One of the best restaurants in NYC. One Michelin star. Excellent service and quality of food. Small plates about 20 each. I ordered 6 different ones and 2 dessert, foods for sharing.

The food is really good! The service can be great or just nonexistent... depending on how lucky you are... we saw a few tables being very well served, with food explanations, no plates being forgotten.. and even drinks “on the house” and other ones with no attention at all. We had no dessert just because nobody brought us the menu!! Even after asking for that... so if you are lucky u will have a great service and it will be a very good place.. of not, like my husband and I, you will definitely never go back, and try any of the thousands great option NYC has to offer.
