“Miracle workers”! That’s exactly what i felt when the surgeon arrived, measured all the path from my lobby where delivery guys left the couch after numerous attempts to fit it either through the 86” x 45” elevator cabin or through narrow low celling stair case. Couch doctor got to work immediately, with the superb diligence and absolute calmness. It looked like he’s so experienced that my sofa was number only God knows which :) he stopped counting after he completed 10k. TEN THOUSANDS can you imagine? He got my Crate & Barrel brand new couch inside with 1,5 hr and the same day I called! Unbelievable! Couch is exactly the same new. Couldn’t be happier to pay 350 for the only possible solution existed in this challenging unexpected circumstance. Five Stars! God bless Couch & Sofa Dr. NYC!
Daniel was great, helped out our big couch move upstairs perfectly. Took apart the couch carefully, was happy to explain what he was doing. Responsive communicator, scheduled a time to do the work. Price paid was the price quoted. Friendly too. Highly recommended.
I contacted Couch & Sofa Doctor nearly three months ago because I realized it would be hard to get a large sofa up the stairs, into the elevator and possibly through the front door. Daniel (manager/owner) confirmed this was the case after he measured. The largest sofa I could fit would be 87”, the one I was looking at was 93”. He told me about their services and that I could have the sofa disassembled in their workshop, brought to our apt and then reassembled. I was very pleased with the communication, the responsiveness, the professionalism and the final product. You would never know a couch surgery occurred, it looks perfect. Also I noticed that when he brought the couch after the disassembly it had been wrapped really well in plastic. The couch is a light color and could easily have gotten something on it during the process but it’s clear that the utmost care was taken. The price was also very fair. It’s not easy to think that your brand new couch will be cut up before you even see it but I am more than pleased with how everything turned out. I definitely recommend this company.
