It's a great art store. The staff are really helpful. There's so much supplies to choose from and the prices are crazy good. They have a Jerry's card that is free to get and adds more discounts on supplies that may already be on sale and you don't even have to be a student. I actually stopped going to the blick art stores and started going to Jerry's to get my art supplies. They have much better deals and it's pretty laid back.

I only paint as a non-professional amatuer occasionally at Painting Lounge, I start to go more often so I want to have my own set of brushes; I am so glad to find a set of brushes for very good price there on sale. The store associates are very helpful and gracious , providing minute details of different brushes and even let you feel the bristles. I will definitely go back to this store and hopefully I will paint on my own without any help one day :)
Jerry's is a very special art supply store in a city with so many me too stores Jerry's stands alone. The largest selection of primed and unprimed canvas probably anywhere. A huge selection of paints from around the world again most likely the larges selection in new York to choose from. The amazing staff is attentive, knowledgeable and really cares not just about your buying needs but for you as a person. If you are thinking of shopping at Jerry's stop thinking about it and get there you will be amazed at the tremendous selection of high quality supplies, some only available at this amazing store. Meet the manager, Heather who is an artist herself and the granddaughter of the founder Jerry himself. This store prides its self on service and great prices. An artists paradise for sure that stands alone from every other art supply store.
