Passionate, witty, sensitive, funny and serious at the same time - Lisa is a real Superstar officiant! When I was planning to a surprise renewal of our vows and I really didn't have a clue on how to go about it, Lisa so expertly guided me and brought to life a dream that my wife and I had for many years. Lisa connected on a deeply personal level and so fully understood us, our children and our life story. The ceremony could not have been more perfect with tears flowing abundantly and I will be forever grateful to Lisa for having been the one to make it all possible.
Lisa was wonderful. She adapted to our situation effortlessly and was a calming and supportive presence through the whole process. She provided expert knowledge and made our day emotional, exceptional and special. We did not expect it but we were brought to tears by her kind and insightful words and stunned by her willingness to help out any way she could. I could not say too much on how large a role she played and how indispensable she was. Highly recommend.
Lisa was a joy to work with. Without her, who knows where we would be! Her professionalism helped give us structure and guidance, and her ability to learn and get to know us helped the ceremony feel personal, and really encompassed who we were as a couple. Lisa Traina is absolutely the most caring, sensitive,personable officiant you could have. During 2020 we had not one, but TWO daughters getting married... Dates changed, venues changed, guest lists changed for each, but Lisa was a constant for both. She is calming, she is understanding and to witness her performing two ceremonies two months apart for two very different couples was truly amazing . The ease in which she was able to make each couple feel that they had the best day ever was remarkable. She spends countless hours getting to know “ her couples”, which makes for the most intimate of ceremonies. She spends the time to learn what makes each relationship special and with humor and sensitivity she effortlessly weaves a beautiful story of their relationship. When I am not playing father of the brides I am a wedding photographer and have been to an endless amount of ceremonies and there is none better than Lisa. She is a gift that stays with your family for a lifetime. With love and affection, we felt truly blessed to have Lisa there to marry both our daughters.
A Covid wedding with only 10 people is not what we expected for our special day, but Lisa made it perfect. Going above and beyond, Lisa created a intimate and romantic ceremony, with a few giggles thrown in. There was not a dry eye present or among the many family members and friends zooming in. Days later we continue to get emails about how awesome our ceremony was, and we can only thank Lisa for that. It was absolutely perfect! Lisa takes pride in her work. She was a pleasure to work with and took great measures to learn about our family, making the ceremony that more personable and heartwarming.
