Nice quiet subway stop that is not in the heart of touristland. The mornings are not very crowded and there is usually always a seat on the subway at this stop on the 1 line since it is near the start of the line. Easy transfers and now has the ability to use the new tap and go system

This is one of the very first, or one of the very last train stations of or one the Metropolitan Transportation Assosiation's 1 Train Line, which Starts (downtown) at South Ferry Station (Whitehall St/State St/Bowling Green/Staten Island Ferry/Battery Park) and ends deep into the Bronx by Van Courtland. This is the very train like that was made famous my ASAP Rocky's song feature many at the time up and coming artists such as Action Bronson and Kendrick Lamar and Yelawolf

Is this the cleanest subway station on the whole network? Trains on the 1 typically arrive near empty on their uptown run as there is only one prior station. That was handy for us as we stayed on through to 79th and had seats throughout.
