This is one of the places on my list to visit whenever I’m in Manhattan. Their chocolate is just different and taste delicious. If you are a chocolate fan and haven’t tried Royce, I highly recommend you to experience it! I believe the Royce stores are only in NJ, NY, and MA in East Coast. Other time they come up with pop-up stores in different places (it was in DC during cherry blossom festival, Tyson’s corner mall, King of Prussia mall, etc.). I love how they are using little ice pack in summer so that chocolates are protected from heat!

Just went to this location yesterday to grab Nama before going home. I loved the employee working- wish I caught his name. He was so nice and helpful! Just like all of the other locations, the chocolate is perfect!
This is amazing. Really nice desserts, and drinks, but also good mains. Wonderfully decorated inside. Staff are pleasant and kind.

Spent a pretty penny here, only later wishing I had bought more! Perfect gifts. Nearby chocolate stores such as Lindt or Godiva simply can't compare.
A small midtown outpost of the delicious Japanese chocolate brand. The staff was courteous and attentive, and was able to give good descriptions of the various products as well as new and seasonal gift items. All the staples are represented, and everyone has their favorites. The prices are high, but the quality is even better. Would certainly recommend highly, some of the best chocolates out there with a distinct Japanese personality and taste - to me, this means some flavor profiles and combinations you would not expect, that are more delicious than you can imagine, and a polite almost stand-offish atmosphere, where they will refuse to sway you or sell to you, but will clearly highlight the benefits of any product. Great experience, great chocolates.
Cute small store. Almost like a hole in the wall. Great selection if royce treats. Staff always nice and helpful. And of course they have samples if you're interested. I had 5 diff items before and they all tasted great!
This review is specifically about the Royce online USA store. I made an order for a gift to go out to San Francisco. During the ordering process, I was given an estimated date on when the item will arrive. When the arrival date came, the items didn't arrive. I tried contacting the number provided in the confirmation e-mail but no answer. I tried several times but no luck. I finally got fed up and just left a voicemail to cancel my order. At this point, I also sent an e-mail as I want to make sure that they provide me with a refund before I contact my bank and reverse the transaction from there. A day or two passed and I receive an automated e-mail saying my order has been cancelled and that I will receive a refund. While that is good and all, it was the most automated thing to happen. It was very unprofessional the way they handled this situation. I was not given a reason on what happened. No explanation on why the item didn't ship out. Nothing. Horrible. At this point, I'll try to get this to the main Royce offices. Top quality chocolates should come with top quality service.
