Awsome time can't wait to go back
It was my first time on the track for rookie day and it was fantastic! The NYST crew absolutely nail the perfect amount of safety alongside an easy-going, have-fun attitude. A lot of other tracks make you feel like a tiny fish in a large pond with crazy restrictions and harsh attitudes, but NOT at NYST! Super easy to roll up the trailer to the pits, setup shop, get inspected and then ride! Track is really well maintained and the coaches are FANTASTIC. They recognize each individual's ability and adjust their coaching accordingly. If it's your first time you'll be very comfortable, no one will make you feel like you have to go past your comfort zone. The owner is always out talking with the riders and happy to answer questions, provide tips, or share some crazy stories. Oh and let's not forget the great job the ladies in the food shack do! Get the meatball sub and thank me later!
I do not have words to convey just how incredibly awesome New York Safety track is! Fantastic grip levels! Fantastic flow to the track! Fantastic elevation changes! Okay, I guess I have one word: FANTASTIC! Just be prepared for a sloped pit area. The lower pits have a grade to them. A little awkward but not a big deal. Enjoy!
More of what others have said: First, the staff is excellent. Friendly, safety minded and conscientious. Second, the track and its layout are great. Note there is slippery grass on run-off areas, no sand. Third, on-site lunches are very good. I strive to come here as often as I can.
Awesome facility he gives people the opportunity to test the motorcycles their cars enjoy a good day with friends and sponsors best thing that could happen to the community we should start having some professional races there once in awhile motorcycle ATV, or cars I'm glad to stay is spent the money for this place enjoy the day if you get a chance to get there thanks
Interesting track! They worked with us to host the GVC BMW HPDE. Great weather, good people, had a great deal of fun! Safe event! will do again!
