Sylvia’s is one of the most famous restaurants in Harlem, renowned for their soul food and it doesn’t disappoint. We ordered to go and they forgot one of our entrees, but fortunately they were very nice about it and they gave us the missing food. The oven baked chicken was amazing- the spices on it were particularly good. The fried whiting was decent, the sauce helped. The mac and cheese and potato salad sides were good too. Would definitely recommend. Orders come with the best corn bread I’ve ever had too.

I came and had the shrimp and grits, the grits had no seasoning in it, had to load it up with salt and pepper for it to taste like something. Shrimp was seasoned fine just not cleaned well. The mac and cheese was really good, fried chicken was good and collards greens tasted well. Corn bread was also tasty. The drinks were also very good and super strong. The lady at the front who took our orders was a little rude. Overall the experience was okay.

I really liked how you order. And when its ready they call you in and take temperatures. They also took one of my friends name and number just in case. The place is very clean. And I enjoyed the food. Will definitely come back again. Thanks for making us feel safe.

Wanted to stop by, and support for restaurant week. Each meal costs 20.21 plus tax which comes out to 22. Thier system was down so it took 15-20 minutes for me to order even though, it was only 2 people ahead of me. They only had one option for restaurant week. If they are going to participate, then a few more options should be available. You are offered the ribs, and chicken combo with one side, and 1 piece of cornbread. I got the potatoe salad, and it was good. I don't like everyone's potatoe salad but I enjoyed theirs. The ribs, and chicken combo was also good. It wasn't worth 22 though for the amount or food received.
