I love taiyaki so this place is heavenly. So many options to spice up your taiyaki. Definitely should put this on your list for NYC.

Please be aware that this location hasn't updated their menu prices. I wasn't told they had increased their prices until paying at the register. Got charged 9.50 when all their menus at their store say 8. It's not that difficult to let people know before hand.
I got the mang/strawberry flavor. The mango was tangy, and the strawberry was super sweet. I loved it. The fish cone was so pretty. It was soft to chew, Unlike a crispy waffle cone.
I was very excited for the fluffy souffle pancake. After a wait of 20 minutes, I got my pancakes. It looked great, but when I cut into it, the egg white was uncooked and some of it was not mixed with the batter. Taiyaki refunded the price of the pancake but could not serve another plate. It was disappointing to not get my pancakes after making the trip to Chinatown and spending almost half an hour there. I was able to eat the mini-taiyaki that comes with the pancakes and that was delicious.
Very unique delicious ice cream. All of their flavors are yummy and fresh. Japanese style ice cream is a must try in the city.
