One of my best childhood memories was a dogsled trip with Kevin, Polly, and their teams up on Hudson's Bay. I finally reconnected with them last year and did a trip up in Maine with my Dad and brothers. What an amazing weekend. Great food, great conversation, a beautiful camp at the edge of the lake, and of course an unbelievable joy/thrill to get to spend time with the dogs out on the trail and in camp. It's wonderful to see how much Kevin and Polly continue to care for all of their dogs, putting their well being along with the safety of their guests first. An adventure I high recommend for everyone.

Mahoosuc Guide Service provides an absolutely wonderful experience. I have taken a whitewater canoe clinic with Kevin, guided canoe trips with Polly, and taught Wilderness First Aid courses at their lodge. They are the most respectful and caring people I have met in the outdoor industry. I encourage anyone looking for a guide service in Maine to reach out, as I believe they offer a service second to none.
Great guides, great dogs, and a great trip overall. Polly and Kevin were very nice and communicative, going as far as making sure we were prepared for a sudden winter storm. The dogs were so happy to be on the trails and were very friendly. The trip itself was amazing, truly a once in a lifetime experience. 10/10 would go again.
Mahoosuc makes for an absolutely incredible experience that you will never forget. It was worth every penny and I hope to go again in the future. If you are a nature person you will love being isolated with the group and dogs. If you are a dog person, well nothing better than being surrounded by incredibly loving dogs. The list goes on, but I highly recommend. Recommend listening well to the recommended packing list and bringing some warm clothes although will provide almost anything you don't have.
A once-in-a-lifetime experience, truly special. Polly and Kevin are incredible guides who care personally about their dogs. In just one weekend, we learned about mushing, spent quality time with the dogs, met new people, winter camped in the woods, had a late night bonfire on the frozen lake, cross country skied, and more. We loved every second of it. I recommend the trip to all of my friends and family. Thank you Polly and Kevin!
