I had a great experience with Avis. Was my first time renting from them. The suv they first gave me smelled of smoke..but when I brought it to the attention of the employee, she quickly got another suv cleaned and ready for me. Also, social distancing is practiced and everyone was masked up. Had fun driving the Jeep.

Cars were not well maintained and clearly at the end of their life. The first car I was handed the keys to had some seriously unsafe tires. Two tires had huge bubbles and all of them had chunks ripped out of the sides. The second car was a bit better, but still was pretty beat up. Scratches all around it and plastic pieces falling off or missing. Neither car was properly washed or vacuumed, but I couldn't spend the time or money trying to find another rental facility that was better equipped. The rental facility itself is not at all inviting. They could at least put a picture up or a plant. The place is absolutely barren. I thankfully didn't have any problems, but the couple in front of me had a van reserved. However, the facility didn't have any vans available to them. The staff provided zero sympathy or assistance to the couple. Staff kept providing phone numbers for customer service or competitors, without providing any real solutions. Not great witnessing the complete lack of empathy for a customer who clearly did their best to reserve a car ahead of time. Needless to say I won't be returning. I'll gladly spend more money elsewhere.

At the time of pick, there was a concern that you Avis not have the vehicle. When I returned the vehicle the computer was do so the return was not put in the system until I was contacted saying I needed to return several days later. Also, I was overcharged for fuel and will have to go to your store to discuss because I returned the vehicle with more gas than it had when I received it. Maybe I will call.
