Amy and I met one year ago at our DONA Birth Doula Training in Anna Maria Island. We instantly connected as friends and became birth colleagues shortly after our training was over. A few months ago, I asked Amy to provide on-call support for one of my birth clients while I went out of town for a few days. Although Amy never did attend the birth on my behalf, she Facetimed with my client to get to know her a bit, texted my client to check in with her everyday, and provided both me and my client peace of mind until I could return home. It was so reassuring knowing that Amy was available to be on-call in the event that my client went into labor when I was out of town. On a personal level, Amy is kind, trustworthy, and intuitive. On a professional level, Amy is passionate, knowledgeable, and 100% reliable. I cannot say enough good things about this friend and colleague.
