I highly recommend attending transitions if you struggle with substance abuse. The staff is amazing and they actually care about what’s best for the client unlike most treatment centers. I’m forever grateful to transitions for helping me rebuild relationships and reintegrate back into society. Couldn’t be happier with the experience I had there I almost didn’t want to leave.

I truly valued my experience at Transitions. It was my first time in Miami and I didn't know what to expect. The staff, counselors and health professionals all offered me a great deal of help and insight into my addiction. It's all in what you put into it. I had been to treatment before but I wasn't ready for recovery. Once I was ready, Transitions guided me every step of the way. Jessie really fought for me to get into the program and I was so grateful for that. The techs will always help you as long as you're polite. My counselor was Amber and she was phenomenal. I was able to work with the other counselors in group therapy, which was interesting because all of their approaches were so unique. You have to be ready and willing to accept recovery and change if you want to get something out of their program. They'll give you the tools, but you need to do the work. I highly recommend if you're ready to sort your life out.
I was at Transitions years ago and it was a life changing experience. While working with a young woman who was unable to stay sober, I reached out to Transitions (years after my time there) to see if they could help her. Her situation was more than complicated and they sorted through all of it and she is there as we speak, like myself, having a life changing experience. What prompted to me to write this review is two things. First, how amazed I am at the lengths they are willing to go through to get someone the help they need and secondly, as a result of reaching out to help her, I personally have been reconnected with Transitions through the Alumni Group. The pandemic has been a difficult time for emotional sobriety so this renewed connection is truly a gift. Once you have been a patient at Transitions, you truly are part of a family that supports your sobriety for life!
Great place for recovery! Vernon was great. Rene is cool. Eileen has a special place in my heart! She was very caring and understanding and treated me like a family member. Can't forget my \girlfriend\ Maria! Lol!! Such a sweet person. I have nothing negative to say about this place.
Let me start by saying This recovery program BEFORE I was a client helped me get out of a bad situation and placed me within there care within 1 hour. Within the same day I was settled in my apartment, in a group session and felt validated. Jessy is an angel sent by God. Without her I can’t tell you where I would be. Ally, Amber, Liz, Daniele, James all went above and beyond to ensure my time was beneficial. I am very high maintenance, it took a large group to get me where I am. If you are serious about your recovery, this is the place for you. It is not easy and yes there is hard work but that’s what makes Transitions unique and successful. They are amazing!
