I think this is a nice park. I went there today for a birthday party through a church. The park has two water areas; the main pool and a kiddie playground. The main pool goes up to eleven feet. The kiddie playground area was 1 foot. The kiddie playground area was simple but my son had a blast for the 10 minutes he was able to enjoy it. He kept asking to go back. For whatever reason they closed that side. I honestly think the lifeguard just didn't want to be bothered. He told us he was leaving to go home but 30 minutes later I saw him over by the main pool. Luckily the main pool started at 3 feet and my son was able to enjoy the water although I'd much preferred him on the kiddie side. My son loves water so I always have a mini heart attack whenever he ventures outside of the kiddie section. This pool does offer swimming lessons. It is an 8 week session and it's 40 for north miami residents and 60 for non residents. The swim instructor was present which was a huge plus because I want to sign my son up. He was super nice and very informative. The other staff members were ok. You could tell that they'd love to be anywhere else but there. However that's to be expected. They're teenage boys. I remember wanting to be anywhere but work when I was teenager. And if I'm being totally honest, I still feel that way as an adult! This pool is a little on the small side but I think that's a good thing. However if it gets packed that may not be a good thing.

Great poll, not too big but definitely a lot of space. There are showers as well. The staff are nice. The swim classes are great for kids. My daughter just transitioned from the pre-team to the team. Every coach there is dedicated to seeing the kids succeed. They are sweet but firm. As parents we are responsible for making sure they are on time and ready to begin, which I love. Discipline and accountability is key for sports.
