I really wish I could rate this place 0 stars but that's not a option. The shelter was filled with about 30 rats i counted because they were caught on the sticky traps that we had to Dispose of and I am not exaggerating, really wish I was the staff is terrible and does not care about helping families get out of the shelter. You have to meet with them weekly for absolutely no reason you accomplish nothing by going to these weekly meetings and can get written up if you don't go. They have favoritism with clients so if your spainsh this is the shelter for you forget any other race. They set rules that they do not enforce at all. The tenants can basically do whatever they like no matter how many times you complain. So if you are going to this shelter and have simliar experience complain to the other location in boston you just might get help.

NASCAP in Peabody has been helping my family for years and the Staff there has always been very nice and respectful to us. Thank you for being there for us, you really make a difference for the better for my family in time of need with fuel assistance. Thanks again.

I have a Hispanic friend that is going here soon that has had a bad experience in the past with a Dominican lady who worked there. I’ll keep you posted if anything has really changed. So far they have ask the person I know for every paper work in the book, seems excessive. Is it me or do some of these post & responses feel automated. Some of these responses seem accusatory. Not very professional how are you gonna tell someone what they experienced for themselves is inaccurate or untrue.

Don't come here if you're any race other than Spanish and don't expect and respect or dignity from workers if you're anything other than Spanish. Their attitude sucks and blatant discrimination towards any non-Spanish people is clearly evident! I wouldn't even give them one star but I can't rate their service without giving them at least one....
