I was told to go to a running shoe store for help finding the correct walking shoe. The person running the store was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable. The reccomend shoes are amazing! I can be on my feet all day.

I just really adore this local, husband and wife owned shop. They spend the time to ensure you have the right gear for you and they help ensure you’re best suited for the activities you want to do. Are you a casual walker? A marathon runner? Are you somewhere in that vast in-between area like me? You’ll find what you need here. They have a treadmill in-store to try out shoes and a selection of products I wouldn’t expect from an Indy shop! I so appreciate the opportunity to shop local and they are the place to be for weekly runs or info about upcoming races and events. I highly recommend!
My experience at The North Shore Running Store was wonderful! I am a new runner and decided to try the Gait Analysis Test to see what shoes would have the best support for how I run... I can't say enough about this process - it's super cool! I ended up going home with two pair of running shoes that are very comfortable and supportive. Missie (the store owner) was so knowledgeable, about the products she carries, and very helpful along the way. If you are looking for great customer service and new pair of running/walking or just a supportive shoe, give The North Shore Running Store a try!
My grandson and myself stopped in to look for a pair of running shoes for track. The help and customer service was excellent! They took their time to assist him and show him several choices. There is no doubt we would have never received this kind of service at a “Big Box”, shop local!

This is really Elizabeth Laffay (on my daughter's iPad:). I brought my daughter in for her first real pair of running shoes. They were paining her and I felt sheepish about bringing them back so I made her keep trying them for a week. When I finally listened to her and returned to the store it was the best experience! They were totally understanding, and able to explain why it was happening. Despite not having my receipt, they were able to accommodate me and were very patient helping her find a pair that were "the ones". It made me doubly glad I had shopped local!
