Seriously some of the best BBQ I have ever had! The sauce is amazing and I’m not even much of a sauce person. The Mac and cheese and corn were fantastic and by far the beans are the best beans I have ever had. I had the pulled pork, and I was so happy with my choice!!

Ordered a two meat plate for carry out, moist brisket, sausage, mac and cheese and potato salad. Banana pudding for dessert. Brisket was mostly un-rendered fat and super chewy, really gross threw most of it in the trash. Sausage tasted like it was the cheap stuff from the supermarket. Mac and cheese was really good, potato salad was bland, had to add lots of salt. The banana pudding flavor was pretty good but was more like soup than pudding.

First time trying food from here and it wont be my last. I ordered the following - Pit Burger: This is a nice burger, I really enjoyed it. It is cooked perfectly and has a subtle smoke flavor and thick but not to thick. The bread is soft and fresh. The house made pickles and pickled onions compliment the meat very well. French Fries: Nothing to write home about, your basic french fries. Burnt End Beans: Not what I expected. Most burnt end beans I have had from BBQ places, they are smoky tasting but these are on the sweet side, not smoky flavored at all. They are OK, just not what I was expecting to get - but definitely not bad, just different. BBQ Sauce: I am generally not a fan of this stuff, but I would get this again from here for sure. I did not use it on my delicious hamburger though but used it for my fries. All in all, I really enjoyed my lunch I ordered through Lunch Drop. I would like to go to the restaurant next and try some more of the menu items for sure.

This place has great pork ribs. Two bites in and the meat fell right off the bone. I paired the ribs with their mac and cheese and had plenty left for home. The variety of draft beer is slim but local so you are bound to have a favorite. The patio is large enough for kids and dogs to run around. Bonus points for having plenty of that live oak shade.

I love new trying new places and getting good food I thought maybe @Oakwood BBQ. However given the opportunity to leave zero stars I would have but I had to at least leave one to voice my opinion. I spent 65.83 got the family meal and a bunch of sides for my family only to be very disappointed. Don’t even waste your 2.50 on small side @Oakwood BB make that new place somewhere else.
