When I need help the most in a crisis, they abandoned me. I told them I was suicidal and my plan. Dr. Byrd and Scotty Lusk sent me home. Then they wondered why 3 days later I attempted suicide. After that they discharged me from the practice and served me with a trespass warning. Was that really necessary? I should have sued them for malpractice. In 10 years there, I had never told them I was so suicidal that I had a plan. I wasn't thinking straight and make good decisions, so I didnt want to go to the hospital. They should have Baker Acted me. Not send me home. They never even called to check on me. I guess they are used to getting away with this sort of thing and no one has taken action. Sad.

I've been to a couple psychiatrist and psychologists and have to say this is the best place I've been to. Dr. Byrd is very knowledgeable and cares about his patients. I feel like my old psychiatrist gave up on me and I was devastated but he kept working with me and changed my life. They have psychologists who work there as well which helps with communication between the Dr which you don't find many places. Scotty is very good as well and has helped me improve my life. If you can get an appointment there don't hesitate it will change your life, they are the best. The girls in the office are always super helpful and will work around your schedule to make sure you get good appointments. They even call me to remind me of my appointment dates because I'm forgetful and get my appointment dates mixed up.
