I love MIO! Everyone is so nice and they don’t pick favorites. The doctors are very helpful. The only way they wouldn’t be is if you don’t want to learn, they’re not gonna waste their time if that’s the case. Which is completely okay. (I wouldn’t want to try and teach someone who doesn’t want to learn either.) Anyway it’s an awesome school and I already got a job three months before graduating, and I’ll be attending dental hygiene next year. They really do care about everyone individually and want to see you succeed. If you’re gonna do dental assisting, go here. Other places just try to get you through the program so they can have a higher graduation rate. MIO instructors and doctors dedicate their time to help you grow in the ways you need and to succeed educationally. MIO is the best in Oklahoma!

would like to say there are a few teachers and doctors that actually care and i really enjoyed them but the rest were toxic. They laugh at you when answer wrong and bully you if they dont like you..lie and say they will help you get a job, you can have one of the highest scores they dont care they pick favorites, and the favorites usually got away with cheating. Dont waste your time and money because you wont get a job afterwards and if you do it will not be the hourly wage they told you at the beginning of the program.

I would HIGHLY recommend MIO Dental Careers! It is an short 13 week program taught by currently practicing dentist that I would trust with my own family and friends! I, myself, was taught by Dr. Van Horn and couldn't have imagined a better teacher and role model! Her patience and skills in teaching are astounding. I have had the privilege of working with her as well as meeting the other professors at MIO and their professionalism and love for teaching is so apparent. I encourage any and everyone even thinking about a career in the dental field to at least schedule a tour! The school is a beautiful facility with amazing hands-on training with the dental office right next door! Becoming a dental assistant is the best decision I have ever made and I hope you fall in love as I did!

Mio dental is the best school! Taught by hands down the best doctors, everyone learns differently and these doctors go out of their way to make sure every student fully understands each task before moving to the next. You get lots of clinical experience which makes you very qualified for the job as soon as you graduate. I am beyond thankful for this great school!
