Great little public beach. Restrooms, wash station free public parking,snack stand, lifeguard. The water was very clear and not too rough. The beach was longer on low tide. On low tide you can see all the crabs and 100s of hermit crabs. Also fish and periwinkle mollusks. It was great experience for our little one to see all that. Beach wasn’t too crowded.

Beautiful views, tranquil setting. It was a much needed break and a nice treat to make it there.
Nice small town beach Lots of town families come with their kids When the tide is low You can walk for a couple of miles on fine sanded beach I do that all the time in summer
Beautiful, relaxing, peaceful place to visit in any weather conditions.
Old Saybrook Town Beach is as beautiful as I remember! Love the breeze, the sun and the seagulls! Great place to read a book.
