It is a very nice campground, there are problems with it but all campgrounds have problems at some point. Its very well managed, and has a beautiful lake. The manager is the nicest lady you would ever want as a manager, and most of the people are nice too. As of a few days ago most of the Confederate flags residents had up, were taken down. It has live music every so often and weekend events sometimes, it even has bingo for the adults. It has internet thats good enough to play online games on. They have public restrooms that have showers in them, the water stays warm for about a few hours if you plan on spending lots of time in them. The lots are pretty big, and are kept clean for the most part. Theres a 11pm curfew and silent time, although people tend to stay up a little later (and sometimes a little louder) on the weekends, but its not too bad and is taken care of. Its also a good union friendly campground as well. Overall i would have to say its a 4 star campground and i would definitely recommend people to it over other campgrounds!

My wife and I have been thinking of getting a seasonal spot at a campground for us and our 2 kids (ages 5 and 9). We have been doing some asking around and some online research. I had a stop out at this place for work. My wife told me to check it out while I was there. The first thing is saw was horseshoe pits that looks well maintained and a pretty lake with a sandy beach...this was immediately followed by 3 confederate flags!!!!!! I felt so unwelcome. I sent the following pictures to my wife who obviously did not respond well. See we are a mixed family, and have tons of friends of all ethnicities. My kids are young and impressionable and see enough hate in the world. Even if I could justify(which I can’t) bringing my family out there I could never invite my friends out. I could never stay in a place that allows this. I will gladly take my business elsewhere and I assure you my friends will too. Y’all are crazy if you think this is not costing you business.

The staff is very friendly and helpful, the snow and rain had made large pot holes but the first day it warmed up the pot holes disappeared but the hard work of the staff, some spots need rundown trailers removed and cleaned up but some of the other spots are well maintained and beautiful, the entrance is extremely beautiful

Camping here for 33 years. Great, fun place. Manager is outstanding, sweet, thoughtful, kind and helpful. Kenny and John have been maintaining the campground property for years. They work extremely hard and do one hell of a job keeping it beautiful. The activities coordinator Jessie has been keeping this place rocking for years too. She has activities for all ages that are extremely fun. I highly recommend this campground to all who love camping. They have a beautiful, white sand beach that is well kept and a beautiful lake. Also have a huge playground for kids to enjoy! They have a store that is run by Gena with fantastic foods. Come enjoy!!!
