I've been a customer of Kipert's for more years than I care to count. Okay, at least 22 years. I've never had a bad experience. Their staff is professional, friendly, and know their stuff. One time I got a bag of thistle seed that had gone bad and they took it back, no problems, no hard feelings, just..sorry and here's a full refund! (thistle is imported from India so they really have no say over its quality.) They've provided me with blade sharpening services, horse blanket cleaning, and the best hay/feed in the area. I can call and find out if they have something available and if not, they'll call me when it comes in. I've taken my horse trailer there for work on brakes and bearings and the work has always been well done, is relatively inexpensive, and done on time. All in all, if there were 6 stars I'd award it to Kiperts.

Just down the road from the Olympia Airport, Kiperts Korner Feed in Tumwater is a great place for your family pets, farm & animals needs. I've been a customer since they opened as a small family corner business to the now remodeled & updated larger customer need base that's bigger & yet still personal for the customers needs. From livestock to hamsters & bunnies, birds & goats to lap-animals, the crew here offers help and solid advice on everything from property fencing, animal food & treats, supplements, bedding, housing, and customer proven advice on many areas of numerous animal care concerns. The owners are very giving to the community and are \locally grown\, offering the old fashioned curbside service from their helpful employees for anything you can't carry.. Expect a bag of feed or sunflower seed to be delivered to your car on the shoulder of a young helpful adult, or a forklift to load your hay or wood pellets on a pallet to your truck..and the propane prices are the best in town. Inviting, warm greetings & a great history, Kiperts is a fun place to shop & browse for a non-chain business that deserves your interest. Check out the collectible history on the walls, and then walk over to the tractor sales area for fun things to browse & look at as well. Competive prices, polite & helpful employees, & a generous helping of old mercantile-type business, this is where the locals shop.
