Cupcake Island has the best cupcakes and cakes in Omaha, hands down! They are beautiful, unique, and delicious. Their customer service is also absolutely top notch. I’d recommend them over any other cake place in the area!

Tickling the Taste Buds My search for the best cupcake confections continued prior to the COVID-19 shutdown of everything. At Cupcake Island, I sampled three cake flavors. For me, the best out of three was the red velvet cake. It was moist and uniformed in body when I cut the cake in half. The icing enhanced the flavor as a whole. This cupcake was also a favorite of my cake testers. The champagne cupcake was a slight disappointment. I thought there would have been more of a sweetness to it as well as the icing. The white on white cupcake was fair without any standout features. Overall: The owners, whom I believe are sisters, were kind and personable and for that alone, when small businesses are allowed to reopen again, I would give this shop another try.
Great experience all round. I live in San Antonio and was having my daughter's first in Omaha. Was a little distraught because the lady I was recommended to was fully booked and so I just google cake makers the city and came across Cupcake Island. Staff was very helpful and responsive up until the day, were accommodating with my pick up time on a holiday weekend. The cake was perfect and so was the smash cupcake. Wish I lived hete because they have definitely earned my business for life :)
I love this place always quality food & service. I had a cousin come into town and she asked me to go back here. This place has an awesome feel to it. I can see why they have a lot of positive reviews.
They are the only place we will get our cakes and cupcakes!
