Im amending my review. If you are a woman brewer, take caution. I was treated like I did not understand or was incapable of understanding chemistry. Good prices, good supplies. Not always spot on with the advice..ale yeast does indeed make your mead taste like beer...but usually good.

Bought a kit here, all ingredients were expired, new to brewing so didn't check until the yeast did not start, was 2 years expired. Called and the owner said he would make it right. My daughter took the yeast container and malt container in showing the expiration date, I don't get to Omaha very often, I live 4 hours away. He said he couldn't replace that kit and have her a kit worth 20 less with expired ingredients!!! Do not waste your time here or at least check the expiration on the kits. Will not return here!

This place is great! Always has what I need and I don't need to wait for shipping. When I'm gearing up for a brew and realize I forgot something, I can just swing by fermenters supply!

Wish I could give 0 stars. Never dealt with such an arragont store owner. I've never felt so unwanted in a business before. I always try to support local when I can, but I will never step foot in this place again and I'll never recommend any of my brewing friends to come here. Luckily there's 2 other GREAT brewing shops in town and one happens to be right next door! Go to Cornhusker Brewing or drive out to Patriot Brewing Supply. Employees are much nicer and the shops are much cleaner and well organized. Knowledge only gets you so far, man. Learn to treat your customers with respect.
