Got denied to donate because tattoos, guess what the guy that recommended me has more tattoos than I, I’m just going to say the staff is a little prejudiced. I’d say if you need to donate or want to donate, go somewhere that’s not biomat USA. Main nurse kind of was not even trying to be helpful. Utter waste of time.

I will be so glad when I'm done - some of the floor workers there who hook & unhook you are not very nice. It's too bad because there are some nice people working there, but it just takes a few negative personalities to drag you down. Apparently some of the workers don't have a very high opinion of the donors. I just signed up because i had some unexpected auto repair expenses - once i pay them off i will be done - unless there's another financial emergency.
I’ve had the pleasure of donating my plasma for over a year now at the Orange facility and I’ve always had a positive experience. Don’t listen to those other whiners posting bad reviews. There probably just upset because they didn’t meet the eligibility requirements. I found the evaluation and eligibility process quite simple and I’ve never encountered any problems as far as coming in to donate. Last but not least, I’ve gotten to know most of the staff and they are always polite, respectful, and friendly in that I always look forward to coming in to help donate. Thanks to everyone there for making me feel welcomed. ️
I had a great experience. I called the day before so I knew what to expect. First time takes about 3 hours because of the paperwork and physical. The plasma extraction only took about 45 min. Then you can leave immediately. The staff was pleasant, and seemed knowledgeable. I'll definitely be returning. You help save lives, and make an easy 50! I know you get 75 the 2nd time, but I don't know how the compensation changes afterwards.
It was my first time selling plasma and the whole process was very straightforward and simple. The staff were very friendly and helpful. \Treat others how you want to be treated\ as the old adage goes. The facility was clean, organized and upkept. There's a good bit of information to read and questions to answer for your first time, but the compensation and knowing you're helping people/advance science makes it all worth while. Selling plasma definitely takes a little bit if it's your first time/you're signing up. I made an appointment for 12pm and was walking out the door at 4pm. Most of that time was spent signing up. The actual separation of my plasma took just under 45 minutes. Be sure to drink plenty of water the day before and during the day before donating. Also, eat a high protein, low fat meal about 2 hours before you'll actually be donating. If it's your first time and you're signing up, it's probably best to eat right before you go in for your appointment.
