Beautiful building inside and out. The food is good. Activities are nice. Caregivers and Nurses are outstanding. But, that is as far as it goes. High turnover rate with employees. I see many working long hours. At times I wonder if they live here. It’s not to say the employees are bad, the staff is great. They do go out of their way. But, the strain on them shows. The administrators usually last a year and their gone. We are currently loosing another. The care givers come and go. Why is this important? As a resident, you want a stable staff. You want a stable lifestyle living here. You want a staff that is a custom to your needs and know you personally. Here, you won’t get that with the high turnover rate. I get change is hard on some, but this is the norm here at Orchard Pointe. I wish they'd keep a stable staff I could get to know.

Wonderful staff and community! The food is excellent and the community is very clean. The activities director has been there since the community opened. The residents love the staff and it feels like a big happy family.

Our introduction with Sheila has proved to be all she advised. The staff is professional, supportive and caring; the activities keep folks involved throughout the day. Susan has helped me tremendously in navigating this new experience for my Dad. The facility is clean and inviting. Dad has not once asked to go home, which to me says it all.

Our experience was so amazing I wrote the following letter to the executive director: Please accept my sincerest gratitude for the care your staff provided to my mother in-law, Elizabeth. When it became apparent that she could no longer live alone, I asked people in the aging field which assisted living community would they want their mother to live in. Orchard Pointe was highly recommended. Orchard Pointe not only lived up to our expectations, but exceeded them. And while Orchard Pointe is a beautiful facility, buildings are neither caring nor compassionate. It is the hope of every family member of a loved one in an assisted living community that the staff truly care for the residents. That is what we found at Orchard Pointe. Though her stay was brief, everyone was exceedingly kind and dedicated to making Elizabeth feel comfortable and welcome in her new home. Words cannot describe how hard everyone worked to get Elizabeth into your community. The extra hours worked and the extra effort that Carol put forth to help a person in need was truly a blessing to the entire family. And it speaks volumes of your community and its mission to provide the best for those who need it most.
