Have been trying to get ahold of customer service for weeks! I have sent three emails since it’s not ‘urgent’ but their automated response is that they will get back to you within 3-5 business days.... my first email was the week before Christmas and I haven’t heard back. I have questions on customizing an item (which they do) and would be spending a fair amount of money and since they aren’t answering questions I’m going to have to look somewhere else. I really expected better.

Lost the entire tread on a 10 ply RV tire last Saturday which wrapped around the axle and wedged between the brake drum and leaf spring! Pulling and pry bars didn't get it so my only choice was to cut the rubber out in chunks with my 940 Osborne. After some slips and contact with the drum, the blade remained extremely sharp and got it done! Highly recommend this outstanding EDC knife that saved the day for me!

Sent a knife to the warranty department after a screw broke. Also had blade play issues. Fixed it, oiled it, sharpened it, and mailed it back for free. Now it's perfect! Great job guys.

I ordered a Mini Crooked River from Benchmade's custom shop and received a beautifully crafted knife with a cover bag with ripped stiching. I didn't think I would use the cover much so I didn't say anything immediately. Eventually I realized I would use it every day and wanted it to be right. I contacted Benchmade online and got a response from AJ the Supervisor in Customer Service. He said they wouldn't send out a replacement bag unless I sent my knife in for sharpening and warranty work. When I pressed as to why, he said it was due to counterfeiting prevention. I called BS and asked to speak to someone who could help and he refused saying he was the person. Sounds like CYA more than customer service. I don't understand the logic here. I could provide proof that I purchased a custom knife with my phone number laser etched on the blade... am I a counterfeiter who would go through all the hassle to acquire one bag? Is a serious counterfeiter going to hassle with getting a single bag from Benchmade when they had the skills to craft a knife close enough to Benchmade's that a real bag would seal the deal? Benchmade came highly recommended by a trusted friend but this service is really hurting their reputation and it doesn't seem like I am the only one.

This knife has made many memories for over 10 years. It's one of my favorite makers. There are many fans in distant Japan.
