Pretty station and no hassles. Boarded train here for trip to Seattle. Left a car and no charge.

Clean and with an inclosed box for waiting. Station is never open weakend. Plenty of parking, with a train loading ramp.
This is a covered train platform with info about the building, Amtrak and Oregon City. It is clean and I always feel safe.
Went to Coasters, a pub in the station. They have a large outdoor patio which is great in the summer, or any warm, sunny day. Typical pub food and beer, decent, but nothing too out of the ordinary.
Got confused by the bar and grill, thought I was in the wrong place. The stop is a little shelter, like a bus stop, but for the train. Had I know, I would not have been there early, in the morning, in the cold. AND the train was late. But it did still stop. Now I know.
Oregon city should be ashamed, no bathroom the shelter is tiny and if it rains you'll probably get wet and be cold. Amtrak should be ashamed too.
Amtrak is misleading. There is no Quicktix ticketing machine as the website says. Also you CAN NOT buy a ticket from the conductor like the info board says. There is not a train station here nor a ticket master. There is a bistro though which the folks who work there are more than happy to help you find train times and provide info on how to purchase a ticket. Plus you get 10% off you purchase if you show them your ticket. Great food and coffee.
Perfect. Great facility, not too fancy, great commuter stop.
