Honest review: As someone going into 35mm photography I wanted to find a developing store that would be better than Walmart or Walgreens even if I had to pay a higher price. I found Allen's Camera and was impressed so I dropped off a roll of black and white 35mm. After two weeks I was excited when I got a package from Allen's Camera only to find out I had been sent someone else's pictures - they weren't even 35mm pictures. I called Allen's camera and they weren't sure of what to do - the customer service was not helpful. They referred me to the Orem store because they handle distribution. Once again, the service was below par - there was no "I'm sorry this happened to you, let's see what we can do to fix this or compensate." Rather they had me ship the pictures back, not compensate me, and said they would try to find my pictures... If I don't follow up with them, I doubt I will get my pictures. I have no doubt the quality is nice and they are professional in their work but their customer service is terrible and you risk never getting your pictures on time or at all if you drop off your film here...

BEWARE OF LATE FEES!! Rented a lens for a night shoot, had it for 18hours returned it at 11:30am next day and got hit with a late fee of double the price of a one day rental. Wouldn’t recommend for upcoming videographers because work on a budget, also can afford the absurd price of a new lens. So pick your battles lol. Other than that, it’s not a bad service.

I am the client that Kobe (review written earlier today) is referring to. Kobe shoots with that specific film all the time and has never had this issue. There was clearly something wrong with the film as his prior roll (not purchased at Allen's) was perfectly fine. There aren't a lot of camera store options in the Salt Lake/Provo area. Clearly your business is the go-to spot for A LOT of people and I can't imagine refunding Kobe is going to put you under. You should refund Kobe, STORE YOUR FILM PROPERLY, have some integrity, and wear.a.mask.
