I'm a \seasoned veteran\ of donating blood (have donated over 100 times). The staff at LifeSource in Orland Park (Judy, Michelle, Renee) are all excellent at their jobs. On my arm, they have to go through \scarring\ from the many times I've donated (one arm has the better vein than the other). I also have small veins and so it makes it difficult (sometimes) to get the vein. They typically have no trouble! They are professional, courteous, and super friendly (especially since they know me so well)! lol I brought a co-worker to donate blood with me and she had a very good \first-time donor\ experience (as I knew she would)! I highly recommend LifeSource at Orland Park.
paybackiscomingtiger08/15/2014Edit I HAVE DONATED BLOOD TO THE ORLAND PARK IL 60462 CENTER 2 TIMES AND THE 3RD TIME THEY SAID MY IRON WAS TO HIGH AND REFUSED TO TAKE MY BLOOD. SO YOU GUYS DONT WANT MY BLOOD....YOU GUYS CALLED ME AGAIN ON THE PHONE TO DONATE BLOOD I TOLD YOU THE ORLAND PARK IL CENTER TOLD ME THEY DONT WANT IT CAUSE MY IRON WAS TOO HIGH..I THEN WAS TRANSFERRED TO TALK TO YOUR SUPERVISOR WHO TOLD ME HE IS SHOCKED THAT I WAS TURNED AWAY AND THEN SAID HE WOULD TALK TO HIS BOSS AND TELL THEM WHAT HAPPENED AND WILL CALL ME BACK AND TELL ME WHAT OTHER CENTER I CAN GO TO THAT WILL NOT TURN ME AWAY. THAT WAS 4 WEEKS AGO AND I GOT NO CALL BACK FROM YOU GUYS. I REALIZE THAT LIFESOURCE DOES NOT CARE IN SAVING LIVES...AND I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO BEG TO DONATE BLOOD TO SAVE A LIFE.
